there's no evidence of a positive nature either mind.. it's just going to go away or go through. I don't see any release about a failure.. just silence
For all I think Luke Edwards is a WUM, it’s worth remembering that he is a Telegraph journalist and has rightly said that by his reckoning it’s the 13th week in a row (1/4 of an entire year) that the deal is close, but that news has only ever emanated from the buyers side. If this ever happens I’ll be astonished.
people don't like hearing things they don't want to hear. I think he is disliked for not telling people what they want to hear or himself tbh.. nobody knows it's all guessing based on whispers people have heard ... .. I don't know is my position.. it a the only reasonable one right now
it shouldn’t though should it? The buyers will have reviewed the books so for NUFC to change the headcount and wages will affect those numbers and so potentially disadvantage the purchaser. the only way the club is currently going to sanction deals is if Ashley expects to be the owner next year. which he clearly does.
Didn't Bruce say the other day that they are taking advantage of the Bosman market for next season. Also explains why Rafa went back to China this past week.
Quote from Bruce. When asked if he had been offered an update from the current powers that be, Bruce said: "No - and to perfectly honest I don't want it. He at least would have been told if takeover failed. Therefore we are all still waiting.
It is very much still on. As I said on a previous page - If it had failed, Hatice Cengiz, BEin Sports and Richard Keys would be gloating and commenting. The PL would be thanked for doing the right thing. There is none of that. Cengiz is still appealing to fans and is confident that the deal will be blocked no doubt due to advice from her legal team. A legal team paid for by BEin who are an interested party and who are directly affected.
