Sky commentary team thought that was bad too.

Good news Bielsa confirmed Pablo is fine, subbed him as precaution, I’d imagine he was scheduled to get 20 minutes but Bielsa recognised the threat
In bamfords defence, the phone incident was during the drinks break. He put phone away as soon as play resumed. For all we know all the other players could have been doing the same, just didn’t have the cameras on them

Man of the match Bielsa. Tactically outstanding throughout. Was
Like a puppeteer pulling all the right strings

did he get his tactics right in the first half? Genuine question ...some of it was obviously player error, bamford was unusually Teflon and the midfield couldn’t string a pass together - but seemed like no one had space.

so bielsa got his subs right and no doubt put a rocket up some arses but looked like he may have been out thought by Parker before the break.

Hey, things don’t go to plan, but he did the most important bit and put it right

Maybe also Fulham just didn’t have the legs to keep the press on for the second half.

Have to be honest. Didn’t expect him to start and just relieved he was fit enough for the bench. I think Bielsa May use him that way for remaining games and keep him fresh
That's why I'm not a manager....<laugh> Bloody good result Eire, **** first half display even being 1 nil up. But I think we can lose 2 and draw one, so 4 wins away. Good to see Villa beaten. <ok>

yeh it was a bit harsh- and he was probably just excitedly checking the improvement in his expected goals stats.

It's unprofessional Eire and quite frankly it's pathetic that you can't leave your phone till after the game. Maybe it's the norm for players to do that now, but in all honesty I haven't seen anyone caught on camera in the dug out on a phone. <ok>

Fulham are nothing without Mitrovic and he’ll get a three game ban, they also have to play Cardiff and WBA so I think the threat from them has gone.

A few weeks back, I posted let Leeds sign Mitrovic if Fulham don’t go up, after today NO way, his head drops too easy, if he loses the ball he just stands there, definitely not a team player. Steve McClaren said how hard he is to manage and how you’ll never get a full season out of him too hot headed.

My Birthday tomorrow as well I’m going to start celebrating early

Happy birthday now Ristac, would have been a right dampener if we’d been beaten. Enjoy. :emoticon-0166-cake:

Looks like the late runners with the momentum this year will be Baaardiff. <laugh>

Hi Guys, I come in peace or pieces actually.
We had the better of the first half but didn't make the most of it. You killed it with the second goal and our defending was lacking for sure. You deserved the win and I doubt you need me to say that either.
There were some controversial moments and the Mitro incident was a lucky escape. I thought Kebano being sent off was harsh, 2 soft yellows, but perhaps it was payback for Mitro.
My feeling is just now to steady the ship to get in the playoff's, if Mitro gets banned that may be difficult.
My last comment is about Steve McClaren, he talks crap and lost interest in him since the umbrella and then pretending he was dutch. He rubished Mitro from the start and has obviously not seen him play since they were at Newcastle together.
Good luck is hard to offer but with Brentford being the other threat, good luck.

Bielsa said he’d only trained for 10 days, took him off as thought 45 minutes was his max
Yes he says that to the media, but Pablo put ice on his leg as soon as he got to the touch line. Hopefully they are just managing the training ground knock he had.

You gave us a really hard time in the first half, so well played. Think the second yellow and a red was harsh. It was more a tumble challenge if you know what I mean. As for Mitro, I would be very surprised if he didn’t get a retrospective ban. Daft thing to do. Will put you on the back foot for the games he’s banned for but you should hold onto your playoff spot.

Afternoon all,

Love Bielsa, but don't agree with the credit he's getting for the subs. Wasn't his idea - it was forced by injury. We all noticed the ice on Bamford's knee, although some seemed to be more focused on his phone (FFS, for him the game was over. Unprofessional my arse), but getting near to half time I pointed out to my lad that Costa was holding his groin & grimacing, & I predicted he wouldn't see the second half. Delighted with the end result, of course! :)

I may be mistaken, but did Ayling not spend a big chunk of the first half marking Mitrovic? White was never going to win a header against him, after all. It wasn't from the start - nor was it at the end. He seemed to spend 20-25 minutes marking him. Result? Killed off the Mitrovic threat, but invited calamity on the right with Costa being our wing-back. They'd have got a better defensive display from a crowdie! :)

LUTV was very good today. Highlight was the chilly spell in the studio. :D
