In an amazing shock to absolutely everybody, the substitutions didn't work I don't believe it, that's completely unlike Grant
Radio 5 Live questioning McCann's Managerial skills regarding his substitutions. We are not alone in seeing Terry is ****e and out of his depth.
Absolutely dazzling bit of skill from Honeyman which unfortunately gave possession away for them to mount their equalising attack from. 9/10 times the Ronaldinho signature kick-the-ball-into-your-own-face move fools everyone and gets you past your man. But such is luck when you’re down at the bottom we would inevitably get the 1/10. Small margins indeed, we were just unlucky. But with Honeyman in the side I have no worries.
Came in at half time and thought should I pay £10 to watch the second half. Sort of assumed it could only get worse so I didn't fortunately. 5 mins from the end and winning 3-2 David Burns said ' last week I didn't think we'd win again all season' and I mouthed 'we might not' at the laptop. Still seems very possible to me.
If only there wasn't someone who could play that position who has plenty of experience that we didn't just release. OH ****ING WAIT
To be fair it was going wrong before the substitutions. They'd already got it back to 2-2 and sounded like they were running the game.
Believe me, I really try to be positive and yes it's a point. But the 'away from home' thing doesn't apply, does it? And when you haven't won since New Year's Day, almost all your rivals have won, and you've been 2-0 up and 3-2 up, I think we can safely say its two points dropped.
I can be positive because I stopped watching once they equalised the first time. Couldn't stand the overwhelming feeling of dread and depression and the certainty it was going to be 4-2 or similar. So, I was DELIGHTED to see we got a point. Disappointing that we lost the lead again, but from 2-2 I had no hope we would get anything. If only we'd played Middlesbrough first game. Warnock will unfortunately engineer another win for them. Unfortunately, that's the last game with Wilks. Couple of times he pulled the trigger too late, but we will still miss him.
