This was a bunch of football fans, no? All football fans are therefore wrong to support football, and football should stop. I stand with the fire service.

And where does that attitude come from. Society is all about me me me. Have a kid send it to a childminder at 3 months. Get a dog and pay some other **** to walk it. Chuck your parents in a care home then complain when they dont get cared for. Society is all about me me me at every level

That's a matter for you, Bobby, but if you get the virus, and you have parents or grandparents, you could pass it on to them with unwelcome results

That's exactly right. It was irresponsible. Some adults behave like children at times. If the children were cleared to go to school by the unions, may be a lot of this wouldn't happen

Totally....but who do you blame for that ?
It’s bred in to them at an early age to expect hand outs, don’t bother working hard and always have someone to blame for your problems (like some on here seem to do).
FFS, at sometime people have to take responsibility for them selves and accept the consequences of their actions....until then, we as a human race are ****ed.

yup, thats the chance i am taking. I obviously don't just go round to peoples houses and as a matter consequence, if i visit anyone then it's just manners to let them know if i have been anywhere in the last 2 weeks and it's up to them to decide if they want to take the risk.

Whereas before i was in full lockdown until it's shown that actually people and our leaders don't really care about being locked down.

I guess the other factor is that we are slowly coming out of lockdown

Extinction rebellion is only the beginning ! Our biggest mistake is in believing that this World belongs exclusively to us - do people really think that a small minority of those on this planet should be allowed to spoil it irreparably for all others, and for all other life forms as well ? If the whole World consumed and used resources in the same fashion as in countries like the UK, Germany and the USA then we would need the resources of over 4 planets to match that consumption. Do people really think that we can constantly consume and expand as if there were no natural limit ?

Extinction Rebellion are a load of middle class ****ers who haven’t got a clue about the lives that real people have to live.
The sort of people who will moan about the destruction of the Amazon rain forest, while shovelling grams of product up their hooters.
I hate them and their children.....but then again I’m a ‘classist’.
    All opinions are my own

The social origins of Extinction Rebellion do not make their argument any less valid Staines ! I will, of course, moan about the destruction of the Amazon rain forest without shovelling grams of anything up my nose - as do many other environmentalists. The assumption that environmentalists are all middle class junkie kids who have no idea about real life is just another media fed stereotype. If you are intent on class war it may also interest you to know how much of an extreme environmentalist Karl Marx was - or was he also a middle class ****er without a clue about real lives ?
