    HT 1-0

Followed a similar pattern to Hull last week. Early goal from a corner then defended our lead.

QPR are much better than Hull, they actually want the ball and can move it around well.

They haven’t got through us or around us yet. We have been well organised and our ****housery has been outstanding. Thankfully the ref is sympathetic to our relegation battle.

There are announcements to the fans at half time?

Are those cardboard cutouts sentient beings?

Take that all day long - three lovely points. Bowyer seems to have us set up nicely now, and has the players playing as a unit.

    Happy days!!

6 points and 2 clean sheets - Charlton's revival in these days of fanless football cannot be faulted.
    That was an impressive win.

Lee Bowyer thrives on adversity. He showed it as a player and he shows it as a manager.
How many times has he been kicked in the bollocks this season?
Lowest budget. Lowest wages. 14 players injured at one time. Southall screws the transfer window. Gallagher taken away. Taylor refuses to play.

    And Bowyer keeps bouncing back.
The man is a F**KING LEGEND.
Easily among the best 4 managers CAFC have ever had.
How much more could LB achieve if the Club had proper owners?

Tough games coming up, but we have a fighting chance now.

Two tough games coming up next.
It's possible we may get nothing from either.

But the lads have done everything they can to minimize the damage of that possibility. 6 points is all we could ask, as well as the team still fired up by Bowyer's fighting spirit.
Darren Pratley is a Giant for us right now.
LB must use him carefully. Prats has the heart for it and he is apparently super-fit, but his age must be a factor.
We don't want him getting hurt because of exhaustion.

Given our atrocious record against the spanners, it is nailed on we'll win with no fans to witness it.

Fantastic post, I felt emotional reading it, I couldn’t be happier with Bowyer, how lucky we are that Roland stumbled into an exceptional appointment, credit to Gobinson.

Annoying results elsewhere today, thank fvck we won

How is it a fantastic post? More like a hypocritical post given how underwhelming he described last weeks win at Hull?

    Lardiman at his best.

The Hull win didn't impress me. The QPR win did.

    A comparison of match stats offers an insight into why this may be;

    Hull QPR stats.png

We got away with the win at Hull because we were tight at the back and Hull were rubbish, squandering the chances we let them make.
That's OK, but hardly impressive in my book.
Yesterday we were more dangerous than QPR and there was much less luck involved in the win.
It was a better performance - our first good performance since February.

On this forum members can call it as they see it, without having to worry about being 'on message'.

Members? Only 5 of us post!!

Say what you want about reams he has a cracking forum going over on ittv. Yes he shoots from the hip at times but he's passionate I'll give him that.

He speaks highly of you lardi, not sure why you don't give it another go. I have not seen him be threatening I have to admit but if you say that's happened ion the past I'll bow to your superior knowledge, People over there tend to like him though and I'm told he is a pretty decent guy in the flesh.

Anyone know what happened to Nick by the way?
