Bit more info weather wise. It's cloudy with a strong breeze and could rain at anytime. Conditions and temp will suit our game and we should see a better performance than last week. Someone needs to say enough is enough and stop trying to walk the ball in.
Can we please have no predictions today of match results. Staying away from twitter as I hate to see the non sensical two or three nil predictions. This will be a battle
Strange feelings today. Totally excited about the match but have this feeling of calm about it all, which us unusual. It's also weird not being able to go to the match but yet being intrigued as to how we we'll perform at home without our fans. Great effort by the club and fans with all the crowdies but it will still be an eerily quiet atmosphere to play such a huge match in. Big match build up starts for me at 1-45pm with a legends meet up on teams and then it will be a mixture of LUTV and Sky for further pre match analysis. Finally I hope none of our fans let us down. Watching the scenes from Liverpool it does make you wonder whether resuming the season was the correct thing to do. It's unacceptable and uneccessary to go out on the streets to celebrate, Liverpool fans are not only risking lives but also damaging their reputation worldwide with their behaviour. What should be a great moment in their history is now tarnished. Also I thought the live TV footage showing the team enjoying a celebration party in some hotel or other as they clinched the title completely set the wrong tone. The message should have been we'll all celebrate together when it's safe to do so.
Only Lefties seem to have dual accounts...........ok I know politic thread. I'm **** at match predictions, but here's one, I bet Bamford doesn't score... It's reverse psychology.
Unfortunately Jammy there has been a lot of crowds turning up to beaches, marches and now footy celebrations. They don't care unfortunately what they might be spreading. As for the match, I think we can beat them, but the first goal will be crucial.
Infact i would rather have a tenner on him to clear one of our own efforts off the line than to score himself NOW watch him score a hat trick
Glad you posted those odds Elland, was just about to have a wager on Bamford to score anytime, but not at those odds, now if those were to score by seasons end i might be tempted
