I definitely can't argue with that. I'm not about so much now but the fallings out used to be ****ing bafflingly offensive back then and I can't imagine that sort of **** is still going of from what I've seen of recent times.

"there was no intention to disrespect you."

    <doh>

"There were a couple of piss-heads -slash- regular posters.
I cannot remember their names, feels like donkeys ago ... but I can remember Bill and another lad called Bri who apologised for their drunken rants every now and again and they weren't the only ones. It's fair to say that some posters found it annoying."

"Sorry, but this mud-slinging is unfair."

The board is pretty good tbh mate, most people respect the right for everyone to have an opinion.

You don't see many 'next day apologies for unreasonable unprovoked rants' like you used to ...

... other than the one above <laugh>

... with 'next day apologies for unreasonable unprovoked rants'. In fact you've tried me in this behaviour over and over again

    Not sure why?

    See above.

I'll leave other people to make their minds up.

I fully appreciate that but what gets my goat is when a 'sufferer' appreciates that he/she has the condition but, seemingly, makes no attempt to control its impact on other people.

Which is something that, it seems to me, should be relatively straight forward for the majority.

I can't pretend I haven't noticed an increase in the amount of people excusing certain behaviour on 'issues' ...

... unless the 'issue' is regular temporary memory loss I don't see how that works.

Surely, if you understand your condition and the effects it has, you can modify your behaviour to a degree.

Obviously not in all cases but it does seem to be a convenient 'cop out' when you've f**cked up.

What amazes me is the number of people who get off charges because being high on drugs meant they had "diminished cognitive capabilities"

How long before some gets off a DUI for the same reason...

"I was pissed your honour and didn't realise in my drunken state that i was not fit to drive"

This board had the best drunken rants/disputes and next day apologies. Had me in stitches.

Why are you using this post to target me?

I have been clear, but you seem to believe that I wanted something posted long ago to support an argument. How on earth it would help in the debate, I'm not clear either how such warped and twisted logic would benefit me. In light of the passing away of one member you have been asked to stop bringing this up -in this case it's nothing more than a pathetic attempt at point scoring and a diversion away from the topic.

I can't think of any other reason why you'd post it tbh.

You made a claim about people being racist, I asked for an example and you referenced other posters who haven't been around.

If you weren't using that to support your argument it must be a trip down memory lane ...

... which deserves its own thread tbf.

and pray do tell, how would that have supported any of my arguments?

You've been banned from one thread and asked to drop this endless routine, carry on if you like.

I've made my point more than once, I'm not here to entertain internet warriors.

YES I have been silenced - is that how you win your arguments?

And oh Smug, you poor innocent ....

I am debating with you here. I disagree with you. Is that what you're objecting to?

Give it a rest man, you're a really boring poster tbh.

    I just can't be bothered.

I've made my points, some people agree and some don't ...

    ... C'est la vie.
