I didn't say you said that, I merely illustrated the prejudice they face. Its not the only way they are disadvantaged
Do you appreciate they put themselves at a disadvantage or is it all everyone else's fault. BTW, prejudice isn't always a bad thing, did you not know, sometimes it's entirely justified. I can judge someone by their demeanor, actions or appearance which is quite reasonable in certain circumstances. Providing I'm capable of keeping an open mind, and adapting my opinion, there's no harm done. That's been the case throughout history and anyone who believes it will ever change is seriously deluded.
They are born into a lifestyle and culture they seek to preserve. It is unfair to say they could change and is not your prerogative to say they should.
I don't give a shiney shyte whether they change or not. If they want to live in a lifestyle and culture that avoids paying tax they shouldn't expect to leech off people who do. If you want to live in your own way, knock yersel out ... ... but don't expect taxpayers money to educate your kids, operate on your colon or give you housing. If you don't like that opinion I have to say I really don't care.

I once had a call from a 'mate' who owned a company called Plumb Properties who'd bought the old Derby greyhound stadium to demolish and build 200 economy starter homes. Sure enough the Gypsies broke in, put their caravans on, trashed the place and stole the water & electricity. My mate did all the right things from calling the police for trespass to the county council bailiffs. Nothing worked and it was costing big money as the contracters were already being paid, plant rented and materials bought. My mate offered them £10,000 to leave but they demanded 5 times that amount. So I offered to get them off for the £10k. I got the bouncers from my club and my gym plus a few of the Hells Angels. I gave them all hard hats, high vis vests and £150 which was big money at the time. I ordered a concrete mixer lorry and bought myself a pen and a clipboard as a disguise. We all arrived at 8am, at the only entrance/exit, and started to make a lot of noise. Sure enough the 'boss man' arrived, with his chest puffed out, shouting the odds and making all kinds of threats just as I was backing the cement lorry into place. I took out my clipboard and showed him the work order which explained that, for health and safety reasons, the dangerous site had to be sealed off to prevent entry and the risk of injury to the public. He came right into my face and said they weren't going anywhere while, behind him, the concrete was pouring out of the lorry Him and his gang turned round and went to threaten the driver at which 'my gang' faced them up, good lads. He started whining that they'd all be trapped inside at which point I shrugged and told him the concrete would be poured and the stadium sealed. He said he'd get all the cars, trucks and caravans off in 2 hours .... ... I gave him 30 minutes and told him to take the mountain of rubbish, washing machines and nappies with them. He cursed me which proved to be another thing he was shyte at as I'm living in luxury in the South of France supping beautiful wine. Tossers.
