In reality it is a somewhat faux league title, that carries about as much merit as a Ben Johnson gold medal. A tainted sham of a title under awful circumstances, a meaningless and hollow charade, devoid of any shred of integrity or merit.

I think that they just about deserved to win, but without the assistance from their best friends at PGMOL it would have been a lot closer. I would have preferred City to win because I don’t know any City fans at all.
