I think it’s time someone had the balls to tell him that the scruffy hair routine has had it’s day and it’s time to get rid of the “comfort blanket”, of the deliberately untidy hair, smarten up and start looking and acting with the maturity of a person who understands the gravity of his position. It is not endearing, especially when you think back to the day Cameron ripped into Corbyn about “wearing a proper suit”. I thought personal appearance was important to the Tories.

Putting this on here because it is relevant to racism and stereotyping. Don’t know how old it is, but very eye opening, and I think very brave to experiment in this way. The impact on how the children perform in class is clear, with their reasons for why they didn’t perform so well.

Bugger, video won’t transfer. Will try and find it elsewhere.

Edit. Found it. Gave me chills. There is a 53 minute version on YouTube, but this shortened film clip paints the picture.

Just my opinion, but am I alone in thinking that Starmer is playing “Rope a Dope”, with Johnson?
Every time he offers criticism of the easing of lockdown, he gives Johnson a chance to rant about the lack of support, playing into Johnson’s hands, giving him a “Labour didn’t help us” get out clause.
But when he offers support, it almost always has an “as long as it is done in a safe manner” message tacked on to it, something I am sure he is keeping track of.

Jenrick looks like he is toast. Some pretty tasty e mails released by all accounts showing that he favoured Dirty Desmond on his plan for fancy shacks in that there London.

The article I read closed with a comment that as far as Johnson is concerned “The matter is closed”, so there could still be a Houdini type escape to come.

And the “No **** Sherlock” award for yesterday goes to Transport Secretary Grant Shapps who, when talking about the possibility of Brits being able to go abroad for holidays, replied “There are areas where the virus is more under control”.
Really? Who would have thought that, when Johnson keeps patting himself on the back and saying how proud he is that we have the worst covid related death toll in Europe.
Of course there are areas that are controlling the virus better, you useless feckwit. It’s called Europe and most of the rest of the world.

Cummings didn’t go anywhere; neither will Jenrick, unless it suits Boris.

If live footage exists of Boris clubbing coronavirus patients like baby seals in the Arctic, you can bet your bottom dollar he won’t resign. No shame, these people.

These are politically very strange times indeed; essentially as we saw with Cummings, BoJo the Clown can do what he wants pretty much for the next four years.

Having such pitiful opposition for so long now meant that the mandate that was given to the Tories was pretty much make it up as you go along/stick your fingers in your ears whilst shouting “la, la, la, I can’t hear you” if the muggles ever find out what you’re up to.

It’s not that I was ever anti Brexsh*t, it was that I was anti the way that Boris wanted to ride rough shot through the entire process and con people into making us Trumps little bitch.

It’s not that I was ever pro Lab/Lib, it just hurt my soul as Tory PM after Tory PM tore through the working classes and saw austerity related deaths as merely collateral.

The way he has handled so many aspects of this crisis have been sacking offences for him and whichever person was involved but he has the audacity and brass neck to spout values.

Whichever way we look at it, the next four years is going to be carnage; you can see the now we have an opposing leader who can talk articulately has got him rattled, he just makes noises and loud gesticulations like a senile old man shouting at himself in a home-he will do what he’s always done.... get away with it.

Most sad of all is that we don’t have an underbelly yet of politically mature or literate masses.... there were signs of a frowning number, but while BoJo feathers the nest of big business and his best friends.... the next generation of politically actives will have their work cut out.
