No excuses really. People talk about him getting injured he will find it hard to get another contract, would that not have applied if he got injured playing til the end of may in the original season?. This is a rare event and normally he would have been playing these matches.
He'd already agreed to play until May and it's standard procedure on contracts. This is an extra risk for little reward. Don't get me wrong, I still think it's quite ****ty from him given Bournemouth's position and his own part in that. I can see why he wouldn't want to risk what could be a big contract and either his last shot at it or something close to it.
Romano has said Meunier is getting close to Dortmund. Probably the best journalist in the game so I’d say if Meunier was definitely a target, we've missed out on him. Aarons has constantly seemed the number one choice though so here’s hoping we can land him in the summer. Nathan Ferguson’s name popped up the other day too, not forgetting the Ngakia rumour as well so we’re not short on targets, it’s just going to be about getting them over the line - and who.
Achraf Hakim's name popped up a day or so ago, although it's most likely that either a.) It's as a ploy by his agent to screw a bit more value out of whichever clubs he's actually negotiating with b.) Los Ladrones are looking to cash in this summer - and given his form at Dortmund, my first question has to be which clubs backed by Russian/Middle Eastern money are in the market for a RB this summer and how much are PSG going to pay for him?
Jan and Vorm staying til end of season: Clarke, Amos, KWP, Austin, Rose and Shashuoa have all had their loans extended too.
Completely out of the blue, we're being linked with Kim Min-jae, the South Korean unit currently playing at Beijing Guoan who is reportedly available for £13.5m ...and, yes, he was also in the Asian Games-winning squad, so no need to worry about military service
Portuguese Rando Watch Sportwitness report that we're lining up a summer move for - I **** you not - Marcus Edwards Methinks this is tied to us having a 50% sell-on clause, because if we offered £10m to Guimaraes that would actually work out better for them than another club offering them £15m Milik Watch Tuttosport are reporting that, while we remain interested in signing Arkadiusz Milik, Milik is using our interest to try and engineer a move to Juventus There's a 50/50 chance we see one of these then... please log in to view this image
I really hope we send the most pointless ever top league team down...they are regarded as minnows but are owned by a billionaire...and they have the most over rated manager in the league.
Ndombele Watch L'Equipe report that Barca are looking at a two-year loan deal with an option to buy, and that PSG are monitoring the situation Interesting...
Barcelona would be interested in a swap deal for Ndombele that would see Portugal right-back Nelson Semedo, 26, or 28-year-old Brazil winger Philippe Coutinho - currently on loan at Bayern Munich - head to Spurs. (Independent)
Kim Min-jae Watch So there's a reason why Beijing Guoan are willing to sell him: last month he was interviewed by a Korean YouTube channel where he was critical of Guoan's tactics - so of course he needs to be expunged immediately
