please log in to view this image Leeds Utd v Fulham Sunday 27th June 2020 25.00 | Elland Road Having dropped three valuable points at the weekend, Leeds will be hoping to get back to winning ways and keep the distance between themselves and the play off hopefuls. Similar can be said about their opponents on Saturday. The Cottagers were comfortably beaten 2-0 during the battle of West London which saw Brentford move within a point of third place Fulham. Leeds will be hoping that veteran midfielder Pablo Hernandez can overcome a knock he picked up a fortnight ago during murderball. There is also a doubt about the fitness of Tyler Roberts who has been struggling with cramp. Ian Poveda is pushing for a starting position having impressed during his 15 minute cameo role at the Cardiff City Stadium last Sunday. Leeds Manager Marcelo Bielsa must decide whether to stick with Patrick Bamford up front or drop him in favour of Tyler Roberts allowing Pablo Hernandez to return to the right side of midfield. Bamford has netted 12 times this term, averaging a goal every 224 minutes whereas the divisions leading scorer Aleksandar Mitrovic averages a goal every 137 minutes.
Hardly. The first goal was on 88 minutes and the second was a break whilst Fulham pressed for the equaliser.
Is this shown on Sky? Confused as it is 3pm kick off. Also, is the Luton game on LUTV only or can we get it on the red button? Thanks in advance.
Ok. Thanks. I'm not a season ticket or membership holder and I live in England. Can I still access it through LUTV? Do I need to register? Soz about the inquisition, just trying to get my ducks in a row.
I think you sign up with a few details and set up using your email to sign in and then pick a password. Then you can order the matches(a part from the ones on Sky) and paid a 10 a pop.
Spent enough in last week between club shop and crowdy etc. Done my bit. It'll all be wasted on a crock anyway
Oh most definitely Lee i remember watching us play that one. This game is about rising above the pressure this time around. We need the likes of Ayling and phillips to step up and lead the rest forward. Cooper is not a leader and an average champ defender. So time for white to show how its done and why Brighton value him so highly. Its 7A.M and raining very hard and our style of play would suit a slick surface. I hope none of the crowdies are getting wet and droopy.
In isolation probably not. It's a very similar situation. It is bigger due to the fact that this is probably our last roll of the dice. The clubs future depends on going up this season. Last season we knew we would have another go.
No point in beating around the bush, this is the biggest game in nearly two decades imo. Future of players, owners and management hang on promotion. Ok, defeat today and we’re still in it but the damage it would do would be colossal. Huge improvements from last week in many quarters required but really believe the return of an in form Pablo would swing the result our way and most likely player to score too
Don't know about it being the biggest game Eire, the Watford game in the play off final was big, but I know what you mean regarding losing Bielsa if we don't go up. Pablo will be a huge influence if he plays and I'D like to see Roberts come off the bench especially with teams tiring.
Thing about the Watford game shaks, I think even had we won it, the club wasn’t in a fit state to return to the pl, finances owner etc. This time, given the changing landscape in football and the Bielsa influence, we’re well capable of holding our own up there and maybe a little better
Maybe we'd have struggled Eire, but it would have been interesting to see. Do you think with the team we've got that they are good enough for the Prem. Now I appreciate that we've got to get there first, but I'm not sure.
In some areas we have players who would Be fine. Harrison, white, ayling, Dallas, Philips, maybe Costa, Pablo for limited games but we’ll need additions. Keeper, replace Cooper and quality fit strikers required who score goals. But at least in pl it becomes drastically easier to attract such players and of course pay them
