    Rivalry aside it's great seeing another NE side succeed. Their resources I think have taken them beyond the reach of Spartans who must now turn to Bedlington for a derby.

    With their new stadium I think the goats have the foundations for a potential league one side. An amazing turn of fortunes and a testament to a manager and chairman with shared passion.

    Aye 3-0! It is always a close league. Usually go to any midweek home games but of course the toon get my priority on weekends :D

    Got family from Gateshead and my mother's parents still live in Lobley Hill so have always liked to see them do well.

    from the Gateshead area (don't live there now) and even though I'm a toon fan always look for the Dunston,Gateshead results both doing well and long may it continue
