Hard fought point against a team who couldn't afford to lose. Gave Brucey and Hayden some credit the other day so I'll give them some criticism today. Hayden lost his man for the goal and had a few wayward passes, not his best performance by a long shot. Perhaps Dubravka could have done better with it as well but hard to say as it was a free header and had the man on the post dangling a leg distracting him. Bruce seemed to forget we had 5 subs and should have had Hayden and ASM off for me, 5 mins minimum before their goal, both looked knackered second half today. Same starting XI surprised me after such a long time out I'd have liked to have seen a few changes and fresh legs to start with, also with City in mind at the weekend. Thought Rose was really good today, won some massive headers and tackles, conundrum about what to do vs City at LB as he is the only one fit, unless we go 5 at the back vs City with Ritchie/Lazaro LWB? Manquillo on the other side looked solid again but needs to chosen when he goes on the overlap more, seems to go every time but credit to him he keeps on doing it. Felt like 2 dropped points having taken the lead but another point on the road to safety, beat Bournemouth in the next one and we are home and dry.

Also can anyone explain Brucey's sudden love of pretending to take a throw in? Love it personally, just waiting for him to launch one down the line to try and start a counter attack.
