I believe Pochettino would have won this match comfortably.

    Dear Paul Merson
Please can you point out that we never keep clean sheets against arsenal...and that Dele will never score against them again?

Winks replaces Son. Extra man in midfield, sort of.

He'd have used the same number of subs by now, that's for sure...

At his peak, maybe. But the Poch we had at the back end of last season and the beginning of this one? Not so sure

Aurier getting stick for ****ing it up. He's played well overall tonight. They struggled to deal with him going forward.

What're the odds on Harvey White playing before Ndombele does?

5 minutes of injury time. Seems excessive, but the drinks and subs make it fairly standard now.

Saw the flag go up and ran the ball away from the West Ham players. Then the ref didn't give it.

    I don’t

at the end of his time, Spurs were a joke and looked devoid of anything positive

Double over West Ham, take that

Turgid first half but a lot better in the second, created more chances.

Giovani Lo Modric superb. So excited about this guy.

I actually think thats a decent win, good from Dier, Lo Celso and Davies, Aurier and Sissoko were solid, and Harry got a goal can't be bad week off now too.

2-0 FT. A win, a clean sheet and Kane back on the scoresheet. I'd have ripped your arm off for that at the start.
Not the most exciting game ever, but there were glimpses of some decent stuff in there somewhere.
Sheffield United up next and they face Man Utd tomorrow.
Two big games for them, with an FA Cup match against Arsenal in between.

Arr, you've not considered the Moyers factor.

Sorry @BajanSpur ... my response sounds sarky...wasn't meant that way.

I think the games v them are notoriously hard cos they up their game...they do the same v Arsenal, Chelsea and sometimes Man Utd but are usually dross against others.

Good win as things stand. Kane looks off the pace still but the goal might help him. Gio looked knackered at the end but I think we have a 9 day break now so I imagine he’ll be fine for Sheffield Utd. Easily our MOTM, played his way into the first half and never looked back.

It doesn’t look good for Tanguy though, does it. Can’t even get on the pitch with subs to spare when we’re 2 up and West Ham are out on their feet.

Overall I’m pretty happy with that.
