It's possible, but doesn't explain why when the hamsting story surfaced it was reported as season ending. In addition his loan spell hasn't yet been extended beyond 30th June. Hopefully he comes back into the squad and is an option from the bench at least...doubt it though.
Yep, a bit of a mystery. Just thought if he'd worked hard to get back to fitness there might have been some words of warmth or encouragement from Bielsa. Instead he was very matter of fact and quite dismissive, even though asked twice at last weeks press conference.
Absolutely. The mangers/coaches know it's coming and instruct the players to start slowing things down a the couple of minutes before the break. The consequences are that any flow and momentum is totally lost, which is obvious for all to see. It's also further reflected by the many of the dull and boring games we've had to witness so far. Stupid idiotic rule and totally uneccessary unless there are high temperatures to contend with.

I wouldn't be surprised if they're wanting it to be permanent and have finally found an excuse to crowbar it in this season along with more substitutions. Anything that could lead to more advertising revenue. Even if sky don't start straight away you know that the Americans will use it as an opportunity to squeeze a Coca-Cola ad in.
