Having blamed Corbyn for many things I'm going to keep to form. The opposition was so hopeless after 2017 that even Pfeffel suffered from a delusion of competence. In fact he is only good for maintaining the fiction that, against all logic, Brexit will be good for Britain. The idea that Labour cannot overturn an 80 majority is fiction. 2024 will be another 1997.
Might be better if you concentrate on the present and the future The past is complicated and certainly not all Corbyn's fault If you want a more united Labour Party then let it go Look for what brings us together, not what seperates us I hope it is another 1997 on the way
The thing that got me was the frustration. I had been a Labour member and supporter since the two '74 elections and a councillor from '86 - 2004. So my memories included the 1983 debacle. I really liked Michael Foot and also Tony Benn. That didn't prevent me from realising that Gerald Kaufman's " Longest suicide note in history " description of the manifesto was accurate. Archer's will no doubt recall labelling me ah Cassandra for saying we would be lucky to get 200 seats. We got 201. Having said all that we do need to pull together and we can do it.
I see that Trump’s campaign rally only attracted 6200, instead of the anticipated full house of 19000. Credit for this debacle is said to be down to young Americans swamping the booking office with bookings they had no intention of taking up. Trump was to have a “walkabout” to meet the anticipated 40000 overspill, that couldn’t get in, but cancelled that when the “overspill” only totalled 20 (TWENTY). I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall, listening to him bleat about that.

I was delighted at the classic Trump logic when he declared that the best remedy for the increased infection rates in some states was to scale back on the testing. Pure genius.
It's deliberate. For some reason his advisors have deemed the " mad scientist" look to be advantageous. The man is a total cretin. Another bumbling and incoherent performance at PMQ's. The Govester will be looking out his dirk and contemplating a spot somewhere between the shoulder blades. Plenty of choice there, the fat owl.
