I think Manq did well. He will never be the type where you look and think "he was excellent today". He doesn't have many strings to his bow, he doesn't do anything particularly fantastic. But he is a solid 6 or 7 out of 10 most weeks, certainly this season. Personally I'd keep him as back up such is the amount he has improved. I'd sell Yedlin and Kraft but I think Manq would be ok as back up.
Yep...both lads have proved their worth for a while now, I think they played a big part in yesterday's result.
He did ok but he doesn't like a footballer. His touch for a professional is a disgrace to be honest. Ramsay Bolton has a more delicate touch. I'm struggling to see what we've got. I feel sorry for him too, its not his fault, he didn't ask someone to pay 40m for him. He is clearly trying his best. He's just been broken by it all. I want to retain faith but I'm feeling like I did when I watched Fumaca.
One thing that i was pleasantly surprised at was our fitness levels. I was expecting us to be massively off the pace based on some of the games I've watched since last Weds, Hayden was all over the park and Ritchie and Miggy never stopped running either. Joe Linton and ASM looked to be limping away from the dugout at the final whistle but I'm expecting that is probably a touch of cramp and a bit of stiffness having sat for a while after coming off with it being their first game in nearly 3 months. Roll on Weds.
Defo. We looked to get fitter as the game went on too. Not sure who does the fitness prep work for Bruce, but whoever it is deserves a pat on the back because we were right at it. Important when looking at our fixtures to start quickly. Get another win for safety, relax and have a bit of a go from Wednesday onwards would be ideal.
When he got booked I thought what the **** are you doing you dickhead? He single-handedly got their player sent off thought so job done in my opinion. Caused them some problems, missed a sitter but he more than made amends overall. Hopefully that gives him a bit of a lift and he can tear Villa to pieces on Weds night. I hope Hayden puts one on Grealish early doors like and rattles the horrible little ****er.
He's bagging 2 on Wednesday. One of them is going to be a blast from the edge of the box and everyone will blink and ask where the hell that came from. He's not a striker. He may be a winger or even an AM if he's put alongside a goalscorer and the pressure can be relieved from him to do something he clearly isn't comfortably doing regularly (score goals)
People do realise we're safe now right? 8 games to go and even if we play horribly we'd fluke another couple of points. We already have 38 in the bag and I don't see 2 of the bottom 4 surpassing that (all of whom are a few points under the point-per-game benchmark) and the bottom 4 have ALL lost 4 out of their last 5 games, they've got 8 points in total in that time, even we've got 7 points by ourselves and we've not exactly been great. So averaging 8 points in 20 games... I'm not even slightly concerned two or more of these teams are going to suddenly get 13+ points from the last 8 games. WE ARE SAFE
The usual season end drop off apathy for clubs who are safe is likely to be even more this year so I reckon there will be some surprises. Relegation candidates start playing like champions league contenders - just ask Rafa.

Would you prefer that I don't tell him that he hasn't posted his tie-break answer of total number of corners in the 4 games?
