Yeah, it was a bizarre substitution, but you do as you're told as a player. As someone else mentioned, Mancini looked really emotional/distraught after the game. Can't see Tevez ever playing for City again.

Has Tevez been given the chance from the start and 90 mins?

Wanted to move, fair that Aguero and Dzeko started as Tevez wanted out. Why would you replace players on form?

Tevez wasn't given a chance from the beginning IMO he would have scored as many as the other strikers

I don't think he'd be troubled by a fine no matter what the amount, but what he did to his team mates and fans was unforgivable the ill feeling amongst the players on the bench was visible for all to see. Hats off to Mancini though for his frankness in the post match interview, to me there's no way back for Tevez.

I wonder which job is harder, the Man City job or the Newcastle job! I'm definitely going with the Man City job judging by this!

Just hearing about Tevez. Can you imagine if he'd tried that **** on Big Sam? He'd be getting sexually abused in the showers right now.

Having the Man City job is like cheating on football manager! Much easier than working under Mike and Derek.

Yeah it's like cheating but i can't ever remember under Mike and Derek being on the verge of an emotional break down! (Kinnear doesn't count<whistle>)

I was going to say! Kinnear having a biological breakdown due to the working conditions <laugh>

I bet Pardew feels like that sometimes though, read he had a right bust up with Derek after deadline day.

I can imagine Pardew being close to strangling Derek! I mean he (Derek) is such a smarmy bellend and it's just made worse when he's dropping Pards in the deep end.

I don't see how they can cope with the pressure! I remember on Championship Manager being almost to the point of tears when Morientes decided he'd scored 3 goals in 43 appearances for me having scored 30 the previous season <wah>

Well that explains a lot, I know Hughes signed Tevez, but sharing agents will explain his bizarre reaction. I know Mark Hughes can be a hothead
No way would he be treated like that.

Will Man city be able to hold Tevez to his contract but not play him, I would be spiteful and keep him without playing him, but I know players have complicated clauses written into contracts.

Play him in the reserves, keep him fit and at least get something out of him.

That seems reasonable to me, I can't bear the thought of him getting his own way by being a "git"
