I dont see why we should apologise for something we didnt do? Its history aye its horrible but the world is and we move on. Aye some idiots still have racist views but IMO they are the minority now. If anything BAME now get more opportunities due to the past. The only way we get past all this is to treat everyone the same. On CV should be any sections for male/female or what your ethnic background is... should be whoever has best CV and interviews well who gets the job. Is the police officer a racist who killed a man because he's black ... ... or is he just a vicious thug in a uniform who believes he's above the law?
