Quality result! One more win and we are safe and can start looking up. Well pleased for big Joe getting his goal, easily could have gone into his shell and hid after the miss but he stuck at it and got a good goal for his troubles. And fair play to Bruce he got the team selection right today, can imagine a few would have wanted Schar starting and a great tactical switch, switching ASM and Ritchie after 30 mins, we were being dominated down our left before that and helped us tighten up and get back into the game. Hayden was immense today, tackled everything. No way we can hold on to ASM long if we don't get European football in the next few seasons, he is ridiculously good. If he keeps up the form he'll get a big money move soon, maybe sooner if the takeover doesn't go through before the summer... 4-6 points in the next three games and we can go into the last 5 vs city, watford, spurs, brighton and liverpool with nothing to lose!
Sorry, I wasn’t clear. Doesn’t work on IOS either, at least not for Pick as far as I could tell. The app is just a guide linking to other players (iPlayer, ITV etc, but not sky). Catching up on MOTD - not only did Gabby Logan spoil the result in advance, but **** me that commentator was annoying. Still, doesn’t take away from a decent performance and a cracking result.

Enjoyed the game yesterday. We looked sharp all over the pitch. Think the lack of a crowd helped us at the start of the 2nd half. Very upset that someone has decided it was appropriate to mess up the time honoured tradition of carrying on a winning match thread and will know who to blame if we lose to Aston Villa @Welshie.
Good result, decent performance when looking at other teams since the restart. Sheff U were really poor though. We played some ok stuff in spells, even before the sending off we were starting to gain control and create. Bruce had a really good day. Made some tactical switches which really paid off, and generally seemed to have the selection spot on. I'm sure some Rafa fan boy will somehow credit Benitez for any decisions he made though Joelinton is ****e. I've tried to be patient but **** me he is garbage. I just don't see it, I can't see how he can be worth 10m nevermind 40m. I remember how bad Solano was for 12-18 months, I'm pinning my hopes on a dramatic turnaround like that. Even then Solano had shown the odd glimpse. Joelinton doesn't even look like a footballer. You could hear his prayers for the ground to open up when he went clean through. We best hope this takeover goes through, or this will be the last we see of ASM. He'll be off to bench warm at one of the big boys in no time. He has real quality and I l like how he gets stuck in to a point too. Seems to have a great attitude. I'm not his biggest fan but in the absence of a top holding midfielder, I think Hayden must play. He was good again yesterday and proved again you need a midfielder of that ilk to balance things out.
indeed... I think some of these players like him and manq are showing what happens if they're played enough. good premier league players now.
