Its not just quality of player, how do you replicate the relationship mane has with robertson , or the front 3 has together. Milner makes s good left back, solid enough, but when he plays the whole left side suffers. when salah doesn't play, its rare trent has a good game. We need cover at left back. Doesn't have to be Chilwell or something, but a left-sided player, preferably fast, that can fill in there. We have Nico Williams at RB coming along, and obviously Gomez and Fab can fill in there, but Milner at LB is barely better than Lovren at CB, imo. I'd have thrown Elliott on by the way tonight had Matip not got injured again.
