It is objections to things like that that make people raise their eyebrows in frustration. There are so many things that you can't say that have been stolen by modern society from what was other speak originally. The word Gay for example has no origin in any sexual context. Any more than feeling queer did in the olden days. I get that there are homophobic words and I get there are racist words but singing a song written by a Black person isn't. If the entire crowd at an England rugby match blacked up and sang it they might have a point. It has been adopted by that crowd is the thing not who wrote it, what it's about or anything else. Rolling Stones = Honkey Tonk Woman = Sexual exploitation of women. Tom Jones = Delilah = Glorifying the murder of a girlfriend. And so on and so on. Lets just ban them all and only let people sing songs written by someone of their own colour. Madness (no not the group).
Watching football. Every player has had their names replaced by Black Lives Matter. FFS. Pisses me off. What about other lives? Do we ever see protests about White Lives Matter, or Yellow Lives matter? I'm getting fed up with all this. Really fed up. All ****ing lives matter

I was watching the scores on the Sky news channel this afternoon when my other half came in and said she had "pruned" the cherry tree. I went to look as I wasn't expecting her to prune anything. I now have a cherry stick. There are no branches left at all. She hadn't pruned it she had discussed it with the George Washington Cherry Tree Society and murdered it. She argued that we have had the tree for three years and it has only given me a handful of cherries in all that time. I told her I'd had her for 51 years and hadn't cut her fecking arms and legs off yet. I reckon it was punishment for not cutting the grass. She has a plum tree.............................
