Sounds like Zabaletta and Dzeko were also mouthing off to Mancini..... though that could just be down to pure frustration. Still, sounds like a happy, jolly place to be at the moment. Maybe they will sign Berbatov to complete the set of sulky forwards.

Fair enough CanarySpur..... Can't say I blame them. Personally I would have applied my booted foot to his ample Harris and possibly into into his "joy department" as well!

I mentioned that earlier Lidls, though I can see the sense in it.
You can't score if you can't get the ball.

Presumably the idea was to bring Tevez on as well, but he wasn't having it.

I actually support two teams. Spurs, of course; and whoever is playing that bunch of overhyped, overpaid, mercenaries. Well done Bayern - pity you couldn't have scored a few more, and totally buried the bastards.

PNP i would agree, but have always hated Tevez from the 1st moment at West Ham."You reap what you sow".

Tevez has really screwed over $ity. They can't tear up his contract as that is what he wants, to leave $ity for some other sucker. Fining him won't make the blind bit of difference with the amount of money he earns. And they can't let him rot in the reserves as he is now part of their 25 man squad which can't be changed until January (PL anyway, not sure when the CL league one can be resubmitted).

He had the freedom of the park against us, Sami, as we had no DM's available. The mercenary little twat doesn't look half as good with a big nasty Kraut snapping away at his heels.

The Blue side of Manchester on all forums...have done one!...northern knobed's! :D

The only time Spurs were over-ran like that was with 10 men, against Inter and Madrid.

Not sure that would have worked. You double up on one, and that just leaves more room for Silva - or whoever. We were undoubtedly poor, that day. However, the scoreline flattered City. I still think the core of our problems against both City, and Utd, was no Sandro or Parker - leaving the defence exposed, and overun.
Mancini looks to have no man management skills, whatsoever. He looks to be a "my way, or the highway" sort of manager. That's never going to work with the bunch of egocentric mercenaries he's got there.
Nasri, like so many of his ilk, to use the words of Corporal Jones - "doesn't like it up him"

I think that the City game was about a multitude of things, to be honest.

Crouch and Modric wanted out, but both started.
We had no experienced leader at the back with both King and Gallas missing.
Parker hadn't signed yet, Palacios was supposedly injured and Sandro was out too, so we had no battler in the middle.
Crouch wasn't holding the ball up as the lone striker, so the ball kept coming back through a midfield with no fight and we picked up additional injuries during the game, too.

All in all a bit of a nightmare, but one that hopefully won't reoccur.

Maybe his autocratic style of management is more the norm in Italy, and the players accept it. However, he certainly doesn't seem to have too many allies in City's dressing room. I'm not counting that idiot, Tevez - he's a selfish disgrace, and has let down his teamates - who, I think won't forget, or forgive, in a hurry.
I can't see us being that poor on Sunday. Certainly not that unbalanced. The fact is, that when Ledley doesn't play, our defence looks disorganised. Add that to the total lack of cover from midfield, and we were waiting to be picked off.

SNIAW - Aside from Nasri's majestic performance against Spurs, - I'd be inclined to forget those first 2 games of ours really, our team was all over the place, injuries, missed a game, riots, Modric. I'm not saying we weren't taken apart by better teams, but thats gone now, things 'are' different, and there's two names first on the team sheet we didn't have either. Seems to be going tits up everywhere else but Spurs at this moment in time.
