Yeah that's what reports are saying. Can't help think it's somebody out to attack protesters seeing as it was at the same park, but I'm just guessing here. Sure there will be more details to follow. Must have been some ****ing awful scenes there

Someone has posted a video on GC politics thread, looks to be about 5 or 6 body's lying around with most of them being worked on by police.
From the looks of the pics they was just out chillin on a nice warm day. Probably been safer in lockdown
Yup, absolutely no link to Black Lives Matter, and the police are trying to get that message out there, before idiots start jumping up and down.
I'm old school, so struggle with this mentality of getting your phone out to film an incident, but we all look at the pics, so i suppose it's hypocrisy to condemn it.
Like you it's not something i would ever do, that said, the people who do it (for whatever reason) have provided some very interesting truths when in the past all we have had is "reports".
Bad enough filming it, but then uploading the footage of coppers carrying out CPR straight to social media without a thought for victims or the families of these people? And then leaving the footage there after Police appeal for it to be taken down? No mate, it’s not hypocrisy to call it out.
Indeed. However, there’s a world of difference between someone filming the brutality of a cop that saw a man murdered in cold blood, and someone filming the aftermath of a terrorist incident where people were being given CPR, and then immediately uploading it to social media. That’s just ghoulish ****.
Agree and disagree at the same time here mate, act don't film and post to your social media account for likes. Posting the aftermath of a slaying is ghoulish but so is posting the slow death of a person. Do something about it if/while you can, if you are too late document it.
True, however faced with 4 armed cops, I can accept the decision to film it was more prudent than kicking off, getting nicked yourself and not having a record of their cruelty, as he won’t have known Floyd was going to die in fairness.
You hit the nail on the head with this comment ^^^ - I was going to post a second comment last night, but just thought to myself, if someone couldn't tell the difference between the two incidents, then it's a waste of energy attempting to explain.
