I do know McCann must have been chuffed to not hear 'McCann Out' chants at full time... I so wish i'd been in charge fo the PA system!!!!
If McCann thinks we were in control in that game then he's blind as well as clueless. We were lucky not to lose by 4-0 given the times they missed what would have been a tap in on an empty net. Our goal differential could have been worse than Barnsleys. McCann should have been fired long ago along with his coaching staff and the two computer nerd muppets who apparently devise his game plans. At least our two other out of their depth Managers, Hately and Parkinson were quickly let go as soon as their incompetence and failed coaching methods were exposed. As for todays line up and player performance they were both abysmal. I find it impossible to choose a single player, other than Toral never mind three players, for MOM. Why Kane, who was completely anonymous for 95 minutes, started while Stewart sat on the bench is probably the worst of McCanns errors in judgement, but allowing Bowler, who apparently has no sense of distance, judging by his free kicks and crosses, to stay on for 55 minutes, and Wilks to play 85 minutes while Samuelsen was unused, are equally incomprehensible. Magennis should have been on for the totally ineffective Eaves at HT, as should Honeyman for Batty. Magennis looked more dangerous in his first 10 minutes than Eaves in his 56. In the back four Macdonald for Burke, given the formers lack of playing time, is hard to figure out. At this point I am resigned to relegation unless the Allams fire McCann immediately and give Dawson a chance to manage and restore team spirit.
molby was an idiot. he signed some very good players, but his man management was stupid. first game of 2002-3 we drew 2-2 at home to southend. ashbee, elliott, green all debutants. green and ellliott scored, ashbee got a late red card. i thought it was very encouraging with that many new players but molby slagged them off something rotten on humberside afterwards. great way to alienate the dressing room. suicidial moron. and that was under adam pearson. the tosser should try managing under the allams, but i hope he doesn't get the chance. two months later molby was on the bus back to kiddeminster or wherever he inflicted himself next.
We knew it was coming. The owners have steered us in this direction for many years. It doesnt make it any easier to watch. Today was the lowest I've felt as a city fan since the terry Dolan years, when I'm afraid to say i walked away. I wont walk away again because those who stay shall live forever as real hull city fans. I retain the right to watch the games inebriated as no one should have to watch that sober.
I still can’t get over the fact that Grant has had three ****ing months to analyse where we were going wrong, think, plan and train and the only thing that has changed is some people have come back from the sick list. I spent most of the match going “whozat” as frankly I can’t keep up with our squad. Agree with the suggestion on Humberside of getting Colin in for the rest of the season. At least he’d get us organised and stop letting in such easy goals. Getting a few points for nil draws might be enough. Would be grim watching but it can’t be any worse than today’s shambles.
McCann has made the same mistake as the manager who went from Shrewsbury to Ipswich (name escapes me). He only really knew about league one and signed what he thought were the best players out of that league for the championship. Too many signings at once and nobody with experience to help them through the tricky times. Look what happened to them. Have a real fear the same fate awaits us unless we change it NOW
I would probably have gone and I will pay and watch. Away games are a delight.i rarely see anyone I know but i just soak in the enthusiasm for city. Real people great fans.i love it. We deserve better than the ehab allam **** show
Well, our morale can't get any lower, the football can't get any ****ter unless our players literally sit down after the whistle, I'd say from our point of view things can only get better. I have no idea what will happen to Leeds, either you'll go up and get panned every week or you'll go up, do a Brighton and do ok. Depends if the board are patient with Bielsa if you get into trouble.
When we played you last time you looked devoid of ideas and that has to be the managers doing, was the time to get rid then, the players looked dejected and any sort of confidence was non existent. Hopefully we can do a Sheff Utd and not a Villa or Norwich, we will need a much better striker if we are going to compete, how it will go I've no idea but glad of the chance even though we're not there yet, today's results were a big help.
