Cheers pal, i m waiting for the new Aspers Casino to open in Stratford Nov so scrounging off my family until i start work again..... Going to my mums in Spain next Sat.... My brother in law is going to get the hump when he gets back from work and sees i ve polished off loads of his beer....
As I said in my response to JWM's 'scraping the barrel' remark, it is a concept that ALL binners seem incapable of comprehending, and, as yet, absolutely NOTHING has even come close to causing me to change my mind! All I've seen so far, is the ability to change direction with all the capabilities of a politician!
Thats very profound for a Tuesday afternoon Dave! So what? You beat Bayern Munich 18 years ago - well done! That is all
So I'm Back Anyway I have taken a break but have been watching the forums still to get opinion and I've been shocked by the level of, shall we say, "Binnery" on this forum. The crowing and chest pounding from Ipswich fans has been intense, I don't know who **** in there picnic basket but heres three quick points I'd like to make 1) Binners, you aint got anything to crow about, your on for yet another season in the middle of the championship, getting your arses handed to you by league newly promoted league one teams (nothing new there I guess...) 2) Congrats on getting the money for Wickham, I don't know if it came through on the telly last night but he's utter ****. 3) I don't know why your so eager to slag off our players and tactics. You seem to want us to be relegated but do you have ANY idea what we would do to you right now? It'd be 9-2 at half time let alone after two matches. There is now light years between our two squads. P.S., we were ****ING awesome last night.
Beefy, Beefy, Beefy. You come back from a bit of a break and then come up with that kind of limp lettuce stuff ? Have an opinion man!
well seeing as beefy is back maybe i should announce that i too am back... though it might not be for long - i'm having terrible problems with my internet connection!
haha! the past two weeks have been very frustrating having to use my bloody iphone to use the internet all the time - my phone is practically dead - still waiting for the iphone 5 to come out!! couldn't be bothered to try fannying about with not606... twitter has been my friend instead
I never use Twitter but this site was down last night and i saw some of your "tweets"......It was quite cool as Iwan and Hucks were "tweeting" too...
yeah, its good on there - some of the players will chat with you as will the ex-players. some good debates with other fans too, even the binners
just to add to that, i really hope vaughan is ok - the poor lad looked as though he was in tears last night. he is terrific on twitter - always has time for the fans and likes a bit of banter too - he looked so sharp when he came on and you can just tell he is itching to get some goals for us... he really has been desperately unlucky throughout his career. in my opinion he has the potential to play for england one day but sadly it looks as though injuries are going to scupper any chance of even forming a good career for himself, let alone taking it any further than that
Good to see you back Beefy! You say that you are shocked by the amount of "Binnery" on this forum you obviously haven't been on our forum to see the amount of "Buggery by the Budgery" on ours!
There is no doubting 1p5wich's history and that is one very impressive home European record. However, the majority of 1p5wich fans wouldn't of seen their glory days, but more importantly the current breed of binner will never see those glory days again. 1p5wich will consider getting to the play-offs as a huge success for the next decade and more!
I was there that night and despite it being 1 game (2 if you count the return), and the fact the 'freak' results happen all the time (I would imagine those Col U fans who attended Carrow road in August 2009 feel the same about that game) it is a night I will never forget. Even if Norwich were to go on and become the Barca of the future and win champions league after champions league, I will still see that night as one of the greatest achievements in the clubs history. They were unfancied to the point that everyone had given up on us before a ball was kicked. Everyone that is except the players, some fans and Management of the club.
Hey carra we've played more European football in the last 10 years then you have in your clubs entire history!
