Okay Anfield has a better atmosphere than Wastelands and Plastic Bridge, who thought that to create an atmosphere all you needed to do was hand out plastic flags.

I definately miss Champions League football, especially the music at the beginning of the games! Not only that, it's the pride and honour of competing in a such a prestigious competition. If we were to return to the CL next season, do you think our current squad (as it is, no new signings) is capable of a good run (similar to the Rafa era)?
If we were to qualify for the CL you can bet your life that FSG would invest heavily to ensure a good run, They know as well as anyone what sort of revenue continued success in the champions league can bring - especially if they are looking for naming partners for a new stadium

You will be back there eventually. Dont take it the wrong way but I dont think it will be this season. This one is all about re-establishing some order at liverpool more that anything I think. Build the foundations for the future. As for KPR, you lot should know by now he cannot help himself. at the end of the day Man utd are more important to him than Liverpool. Sad but true. he may know liverpool inside out but he takes the keep your friends close and your enemies closer saying way to far.
Excellent post Bozz. JWH said that CL qualification is necessary. If Kenny were to deliver( hopefully he does) JWH will back him. The more targets Kenny meets the more the purse strings will be loosened. JWH wants progress on and off the pitch. If we get CL qualification expect a kick ass summer, although it will be quality rather than quantity this time round.
