Which, according to 'broken record' Lawrenson, is written in the stars! LAWRO'S PREDICTION : 2-1 Norwich are six points off safety but if they can treat the restart like the start of a season, and Teemu Pukki can find a burst of scoring form like he did in August and September, they have got a chance of staying up. That is the optimistic way of looking at their situation. On the flip side, they are seriously short of fit defenders for the remainder of the campaign. But what I think might help Norwich is what I noticed from Wednesday's games, when there was quite a lot of football being played. Things were not happening at 100 miles per hour like they normally would and the tackles were not flying in either.
Will the sound mixer for tonight's game have a recording of OTBC? That would add some much needed "authenticity" to the KO...I noticed from the Villa game that there were some Villa related songs being played. There were no chants of "The Referee's a W**ker" though, which I found a bit naff.
Yes, that's how it looks to me too. Can't say I'm hugely comfortable with this "buy cheap to sell for a profit" policy when applied to non-youth players like Watkins and Raggett. What level of honesty is involved here? Would players sign if the true basis of our interest in them was made clear?
Covid put everything on hold for months , we are back with all the players being told to kneel and wear shirts supporting a Neo Marxist divisive political movement, and we are in the QF of the Exticintion Rebellion How dare you cup. What a strange year so far

Drmic to be this year's Simeon Jackson? I think we had to change something, but was expecting something more 4-3-3, with a deep midfield trio with someone like Vrancic or Leitner coming in rather than Drmic. Or even Tettey+Trybull+Mclean. Trybull and Mclean are outnumbered in the centre of the park, so are going to need a big game and support from those around them.
We don't appear to have improved our ability to play out from the back. Several mistakes in bad areas already. Probably had more of the ball, but Southampton just need to wait for the inevitable error and counter. Other than Drmic's early shocker, we've created little.
