    Landlord asked me to go over yesterday to witness his signature on the 5-year lease. That's him nailed. I truly hope it works for him. He's a nice bloke and is trying very hard to make it happen. I wonder if 'The Pub' has seeped away from the human psyche because of this ****e. He's also the only person I've ever met who comes from Scunthorpe <yikes>

    Bit surreal in there yesterday evening. Had to drink our cans in the function room. The bogs have all been ripped out and all the stools and chairs have been taken away for re-upholstering. It'll be weird on July 4th when normal people return. I use that word with full poetic licence <laugh>

    Imagine how difficult it's gonna be preventing a whole load of palatic punters from doing the whole "I love you, you're my best mate (hic)" hugging malarkey. Not just in the Cheese, but everywhere.
