He's an absolutely awful player. No idea why PSG forked out 50mill for him, no idea why Chelsea bought him back and then after all that, Arsenal decided he was the one to lead their backline...all because he can occasionally run forward with the ball
The thing is on paper arsenal are a good team. They should be frightening up front, solid in the middle and decent in defence. The one thing that is missing is work ethic, such a simple thing, ****ing run lad, work hard, but its just not there. In the first 5 minutes the ball was played to aubameyang, it didn't quite come off, he threw his hands up and wandered in a circle. If that was mane he would have hounded the right back, trying to get the ball back. Watching them tonight really brought home to me, the difference klopp has made. The massive difference between arsenal and Liverpool isn't skill or ability but the work ethic and will to win.
I would say there is a massive gap with skill and ability too, but yes that arsenal team can just be forced into defeat. Pathetic team and Arteta can't even improve them this summer
