2/1 for a horse in a Royal Ascot handicap is a one way ticket to the loony bin! I like GOLDEN MELODY in the Albany so it could be a golden day???
SDS at Ascot? On a short priced horse? You’ve got to take it on. I’ve gone with Keep Busy who has been.
The Henderson stable has sent me Golden Pal the WW horse in the Norfolk 2.25. They are usually good for a few winner on the jumps, no idea if they are any good on the level.
Chelsea might be able to shed some light on this one, if i'm not mistaken he gets good info from the yard. I've been given Solar Park in the 4:25 at Lingfield. Yard had a big priced winner on Wednesday at 20/1. Shame i didn't get word for that. Guess the big prices aren't for sharing.
I spoke to the trainer himself this evening. He told me that he is hopeful and that the right man was on board and it had a great draw. He also told me to have a good look at one at Windsor on Monday. PS; I dont think Chelsea gets anything from this yard, the one he had word for was a syndicate horse.
I got the impression he got good info from them. Seems reliable enough anyway. Always happy to share what he gets too
The runner tomorrow is in the same ownership as the horse Chelsea put up the other week. It was a 2yo called Lothian. Solar Park was meant to win last week but met trouble in running, I didnt see anyone put it up that day. The one on Monday is called DILIGENT LADY.
I never get the nod, its not that kind of yard. However Michael and I are mates and if I ask he will tell me their chances. I dont really like to ask.
Thanks for sharing this time. Luckily i backed the one midweek as it looked to have a great chance i was a bit surprised to not hear about it though
It’s like having a mate who is a doctor and every time you meet them asking them about your ailments. You knob!
So if the first three days are anything to go by, Anthony Van Dyke will disappoint for Ballydoyle in the Hardwicke (with my money on), while Mother Earth will win probably the Albany, but who wants to bet in that? Pierre Lapin in the Commonwealth Cup is a horse I’ve been looking forward to - only run on GF so far though, and he won’t get that today
