    It took me a while to figure out what that was about. The equivalent would be the UK National Pension Fund being stopped from buying a club because the UK government wasn't doing enough to stop illegal IP TV feeds.

    Can you imagine the uproar in the UK if our Pension Pot was used to purchase a UK football club - particularly if it was Liverpool (as very few of them have actually contributed to the fund in the first place).

    This is very good news.

    He's once again sending a message to the PL that they shouldn't stop this investment.

    The more I think about it the KSA have played a blinder here with their timing.... as they know the UK and PL will be needing fresh investment right now, post Brexit and Covid.
