If she was in Portugal the entire time the Portuguese cops are gonna look like right stupid ****s. The Netflix documentary gave some time to the idea that the parents were responsible but never really had too much to go with that, but the one thing that documentary seemed to make very blatantly obvious is the incompetence of the Portuguese police. Underfunded, poorly trained, didn't take it serious. At best they were shoddy, at worse they purposely messed with the investigation as to avoid negatively affecting the regions tourism.

They're now saying he wasn't in Portugal at the time, but had left several days before. Portuguese authorities are saying the Germans won't reveal their evidence because they don't have any and all they're doing is trying to save face now. They say the saliva on the bed belonged to a member of the family and wasn't a very good sample to connect to any dna.

I know but "concrete evidence" would mean he would have been charged already as it is solid! If it is him and they have not charged it is because the either a) there is no evidence or b) they are currently lacking the evidence
