Assuming he played or attended on Saturday, I'd guess so - but to be honest I don't know the rules well enough to be sure.
If there was any sustained contact with the player, then yes i believe it would - i think that anyone that came into contact for a prolonged period of time would need to self-isolate for 14 days!!! Given that we had so many of our squad playing on Saturday, I would say it is odds on that we will be affected in some way. If the worst case does happen, am sure that we will be blamed and told that it was our fault, because we wanted to cancel the season
I presume our players will be tested to make sure now. Spurs had the same sort of situation after they played Norwich the other week.
According to the Wobby, it was a member of Brentord's staff who tested positive. No info on whether or not it was a player, nor on whether he was at The Vic on Saturday. I find that amazing - surely to god the club needs to be told?
Club in talks about a new ground in Bushey. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...fc-begin-talks-potential-stadium-move-bushey/
Having grown up in Bushey and know the whole area very well, I would be unhappy to see a new ground there. I think it will probably happen as that part has gradually had the division between Bushey and Watford eroded. There was a green belt to separate the two, but it has slowly been allowed to have buildings on it. Look at old maps and you will see that Bushey was a village. No longer, but it is still distinctive from Watford. My suspicion is that the hospital would like the Vic to expand and it could be worthwhile for the club to move. Also the ownership of the golf club and goings on there would suggest that something has been in the pipeline for a while now. Sad, but likely in my opinion.
It would be possible to put a link road in from the Watford ring road to a new ground there. So no problems if you are coming from the north and take breakfast with you to eat on the ring road.
Good idea would be to include a train station in the plans with a link to the London Overground Other option would be to take the train to Bushey Station and walk from there Only non option would be to drive there
Two small pubs just outside Bushey station, The Railway and The Victoria. It might be as close to Watford High Street station. Both of them would require a 15-20 minute walk. It would not be easy to seperate home and away fans.
Bit like the Watford ring road then ? Regarding the actual stadium my worry would be if we got there and then couldn't fill it - unfortunately if we went down and stayed down the crowds might be quite low in a let's say 30 k capacity. We don't really sell out that often at the Vic !
As scullion said, it has also surprised me after all the work put into the vic and yes means the owners have plans too that are even more ambitious. I guess so much depends on the next 9 games.
