Tbph, I'm not sure if I have the confidence of the legal process to see this through to ensure justice is done. I can only hope they do. If they don't anyone remember the LA riots after Rodney King... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rodney_King
I saw a documentary on firearms training a few years back for the Armed Forces and Police and the Target area is a football sized area in the chest/torso and the instructors said that head shots were showing off and aiming for the arms or legs belong only in Western Films There was no mention of shooting in the back though, only in America
I could be wrong but I think the officers over there are taught to empty their magazines into the suspect, as well.
Brooks cop could face the death penalty, never mind jail ... could Trump jump on that particular bandwagon with the election coming? ... or would he lose more votes than he would gain ... his wig will be twitching with the possibilities
What part of me, through the entire convo, so more than once, mentioning the death sentence, did you not understand?
No comment on the first one. The second vid, this was last year, the guys name was Schafer, the police were called because he was waving a gun at passer-bys. It looked to me he was either concealing or reaching for the gun but it turned out it was only a BB gun that looked like a 7mm pistol. I suppose in the land of the free that's what happens when guns are a plenty, and you have nervous trigger happy cops.
A man was denied his dream job in the police "simply because he was a white, heterosexual male", his lawyers said after Cheshire Police was found guilty of discrimination. Matthew Furlong, who hoped to follow in the footsteps of his father - a serving detective inspector in the same police force - had applied to join in 2017. The 25-year-old passed the interview stage and said he was told "it was refreshing to meet someone as well prepared as yourself" and that he "could not have done any more". However, the applicant - who studied particle physics and cosmology at Lancaster University - was later told he lost out to other candidates, prompting his father to file a complaint. Mr Furlong has now won an employment tribunal case, which found Cheshire Police had discriminated against the applicant on the grounds of sexual orientation, race and sex. ——————————————————- This is scandalous. We need to start a movement.
Does anyone else find the "taking the Knee" last night cringeworthy . I fail to see the point of doing it if you are not a Yank as only to them does it resonate in any sort of profound way due to their ingrained reverence of the flag & star spangled banner . PS do they still have to stand for the anthem at the start of every school day ?. Edit : Oh FFS just seen Raabs comments - game of thrones
I applied for the police in my youth and passed the assessments, I fell short at the interview stage. Tbf I think now looking back despite being physically fit and smart enough I was too young. My mate told me I was an idiot and should have signed my sexual orientation as biesexual because they're desperate for LGBT cop numbers.
