I don't know what everyone else is watching this on, but I'm watching on NBC Sports - they have taped crowd noise, which, I have to say, is quite.... different.
Good news for Barrow. No doubt Villa will win now. Maybe they sprayed the ball too much for it not to record the goal.. Be the typical sort of thing that would happen here!
Good to see - I have a soft spot for them. Went there twice during the 60s and thoroughly enjoyed both trips. And we signed Keith Eddy from them...
I thought they are bound to win after what happened. Tbh the goal line stuff was the only exciting bit it seems !!
If that is a typical game without crowds then I will not be watching many non Watford games. Utterly disappointing.

PGMOL said the VAR couldn't intervene as the ref hadn't signaled a goal so there could be no check. Sounds like one of those silly rules that does VAR no favours at all.
What I don't get is that the technology is to assist the referee, not replace him/her. I did not see it real time, but I suspect that it was visible to the ref. All he had to do was make a decision and this would have been sorted out goal (as it turns out it was) or no goal. Complete Reliance upon these systems needs to stop and the ref needs to start reffing the game
The Man City game was so much better. We should be thankful the PL can attract the best players in the world to play here. It was worth tuning in just to watch De Bruyne, his positioning and skill is so good. Thankfully he only came on as sub at Wembley last year.
To be faitr the ref was probably obstructed in his view..... But so crazy....'science' can be fallible!
I think it's accepted he couldn't give a decision. The main issue was why couldn't as HT says he get help for what something very clear. I could understand if it still wasn't obvious but Sky etc showed the ball was over in seconds. I am sure in this case Villa would have understood. Sometimes people don't help themselves and now the system will always be questioned probably.
