Cricket is very popular, in Asia, more countries have started playing to a higher level, since the IPL began. When India, or Pakistan are touring England, the grounds are rammed.
Today I have learned on social media, that the people who are celebrating the end of the dept for International overseas development, as they believe that ‘charity should begin at home’. Appear to be exactly the same people who literally yesterday, were getting cross about the idea of providing free meals to extremely poor kids, in *checks notes* the U.K. I’m beginning to think that these people just don’t like charity much......or people really.
A stunning career https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zesh_Rehman Actually had an uncharacteristically excellent game out of position at right-back at St Mary’s. Blackstock and Ray Jones (died not long after trying to overtake a bus) scored.
I've been watching a bit of Joe Biden this week for some ungodly reason. After all this ****, no matter the approval ratings, I still reckon Trumps gonna spank Biden. The ol' fart can barely talk, he ****s up basic sentences and his point never even hits. He's embarrassing.
I'm more surprised that there's not even many British Asians coming through the ranks. They make up about 8% of the population and yet we see almost none, yet as I've said, the tiny amount of black people that actually live in Britain make up just a massive portion of the footballing population. Perhaps asian people feel they have more opportunities for them outside of sport? Don't care as much? I dunno.
You don’t have to convince me, mate. 2 of the best lads I played with on a Saturday were Asians. I’d say mainly black lads always seem to have an extra yard of pace whereas Asian lads seem to mainly be better footballers, more technical. Just my observation over the years in local footy between those two races. Yorkshire should be a big catchment area for Asian lads and there’s plenty of professional football clubs in the area so no idea why more aren’t being picked up. It would be a good question to put to some of the clubs. Any idea what the ratio of Asian lads being picked up and progressing at a club like Bradford is? You’d think it should be high, a professional club with no money so has to recruit locally. No reason why Asian lads shouldn’t be breaking through on a regular.
Well done. Now we have to put up with a thousand word essay from Fosse about the young quality they’ve got at Leicester
Are they considered good at any sport as a rule? Seem more interested in education (India) and eating live bats (China).
