Fanciful as it may sound and probably utterly preposterous but I did wonder if the PL were setting a trap for the Qataris...which they duly fell into!
They are not very bright are they? They 'lost' the battle in the WTO. Most of their claims dismissed. They respond by threatening to bid less or withdraw from the TV deal. Effectively blackmail the PL. Now it turns out that there are links between Mauriss and Qatar. I use the term corruption very loosely, but out of the Saudis and Qatar, I would say that the Saudi's are far less corrupt. Still wouldn't trust them, but I trust the Qatari's far less. As does the rest of the world it seems.
Anyone else thinking the Qataris are now sounding more desperate by the day? they are literally running out of tactics to pull.
