What about the rest of the paragraph that you've only quoted the first few words from.

Answer this question. If he'd been white would all this crap be going on?

If the answer is no then please explain why it's acceptable because he was black?

    Simple question, simple answer required

There's a **** ton of people out there like it. It's so strange because they seem totally decent people but obviously being properly decent doesn't allow for judging and discriminating based on skin colour.

My neighbours dad was a notorious racist, so like supporting a football club, its just been handed down to him.

I could imagine another problem as to why black folk dont catch alot of the breaks, job wise, is because of prejudice rather than racism.
If I walked into a room and there was a black man, an asian, and a white man, and I was told that I had to pick one of them to go out on the town for a pissup, I would pick the white man because I would assume thats who I would have most in common with. If I later spent a night out with the black or Asian man I would admit to anybody, if it was the case, that the white guy was a total twat and the black or asian guys couldnt have been any nicer.
My company has been on the go for 40 years, only ever employed locals. One of the jobs in the tightly knit office of about 5 people was available, needed a highly qualified bloke to fill it. We got 2 applicants. One white, local, another Indian, based in Manchester. My boss interviewed both. White guy was ****, Indian guy suited the job. However my boss kept the job open for another few weeks before he bit the bullet and employed the Indian bloke. I was a bit concerned that there would be a sort of awkwardness, nothing in common, him being left out sort of atmosphere. He's a lovely bloke.
I basically think that prejudice can get lumped in with racism, when in fact they can often be two entirely different things.

Except when I called it racism? I do think what Joshua said about the black race being superior was racist and if he believes it, he's a racist (he denied he said it btw).

I didn't think what he said about supporting black owned shops over other shops was racist because it was primarily about helping his community build up after years of systemic racism that has made black businesses harder to sustain and harder to make successful compared to others. He didn't actually mention 'white businesses' at all, but again, the problem here is that because you refuse to accept that systemic racism existed for hundreds of years and continues in society, you refuse to even accept that black owned businesses might need more support from their local community than others.

As for owld feller, I'm informed that he's posting nonsense personal attacks again. Rest assured owld feller, anyone looking through your post history with me will see exactly what kind of human being you are, and probably decide that you have a psychotic obsession with me. Please, for whatever is left of your own sanity and dignity, just stop.

I think this is the root of it. In a nutshell, for you this 'prejudice' is an unintentional situation that was not meant to cause harm to anyone, it's just a 'preference' to hire or socialise with your own race. The problem is that because other races in Britain have been 'prejudiced' for so long in this way, black communities and other communities find themselves (as a result of years of not getting the best jobs or being passed over in favour of white people wherever there's an option to do so) less affluent. Of course some black and minority people get jobs and as the Rooney rule has shown, if people hire on an equal playing field, they're often surprised by how it turns out, that their prejudices were inaccurate.

So that's why I say that what Anthony Joshua is really saying at that rally is that other races are favouring their own without ever saying it, in the exact way you know and recognise. He is saying that while that kind of prejudice exist, then black people need to be aware they will often be a last resort, or a second choice, or 'not an ideal candidate' and their local communities will need more help to sustain businesses and aspirations.

I just also think I should make clear that I feel the same way about the North East, that the same problems the black community has in Watford and around the country are mirrored up here and impact white people too - and are less centred around race because we're predominantly white up here. If I said 'shop in the local community and support North East-owned businesses' it would be because I think North East businesses are less likely to be well off and suatainable in this local economy than one in a more affluent region. It doesn't mean I hate southern businesses, it means we have a problem and the government isn't solving it, so until we're equal with the south, I'll favour the North East with my money.

We really aren't that different. Sure, AJ may have referred to skin colour, but he did it because the black community has been treated unequally, so diverting resources to their community as a priority helps them strive for a day when they will be treated equally by employers. For him to say that is different from me saying 'Shop at more white-owned shops to maintain that inequality'.

Nick Hancock on BBC Breakfast News today,

"I welcome this initiative by Daniel Rashford, sorry I meant Marcus Sturridge. Oops, sorry I meant Marcus Rashford ...

... an easy mistake to make, they all look the same to me."

I've asked your little pal 4 times to answer why he posted this racist slur and he's ignored me ...

... he's so embarrassed that he asked me to discuss it in private away from the board.

Perhaps you can explain what it means.

He's admitted to being a racist and you're still slyly defending Joshua while pretending to condemn him. You're still suggesting that he perhaps didn't mean what he said and was only reading someone else's words.

Someone who's mocked a Muslim, because of his faith, has a nerve calling out other people.

I've answered every serious question and will happily answer anything that isn't buried in the endless cut & paste essay you usually churn out.

And I did answer it check the original thread #447

I really don't see the point Smug in this when you ignore posts and continue with this tedious drivel

Lets start by me asking why was my first post patronising? If you answer that, you will not be such a hypocrite

I found it patronising as I did when you started losing it and calling me darling or avoiding answering a simple question.

You've admitted being a racist as you repeated with your daft Latin post.

Why won't you answer your slave image post question, this is the 5th time I've asked ...

... you've referred to it but you haven't explained what your point is.

    What is it?

@Kittenmittons as you have intimated you are a successful business man that runs his own company.

Can I ask, how many people of colour do you employ?

I think if you'd have read what I actually said (none of it was copy and pasted but you don't seem to have the ability to write in anything other than bullet points so I understand this is alien to you) you might actually find it mildly amusing that you responded to the points I made by completely ignoring them and asking me to explain someone else's posts that I have played literally zero role in.

Could you give us a clue on how much is over half?

And do you prefer suppliers from the local area?
