interesting ...though it’s probably because it’s harder to conceal your piece when it’s a bear rifle!
it’s all on video. Your choice as to whether you watch and are then able to have an informed opinion. No need to duck behind “Some conflicting reports on this,” Of course it’s your choice, nothing to do with my comments.
I have watched it - it's really sad. It all started off cordially, but when the cuffs came out - was that really necessary for a guy sleeping in his vehicle after too many drinks? The guy resisted arrest, grabbed the taser off one cop and punched the other in the face and then legged it. The cop that had been punched gave chase fired his taser missed, the guy fired his back while still running away and the cop shot him in the back. The cop had frisked him earlier so knew the guy's only weapon was the taser he'd nicked. He was also drawing his gun, before the guy had fired the taser and didn't shout any warning. My view. Did the guys actions contribute to the circumstances? obviously. Can you understand why the cop might have been pumped up in the circumstances? yep (so a bit different to the cold blooded nature of the George Floyd case). Was the shooting justifiable? No
I fully agree all lives matter and that is a fine sentiment at face value, but This article about recent proceeding in the Australian Senate are also relevant https://www.theguardian.com/austral...block-pauline-hansons-all-lives-matter-motion
Live video is always so bloody indistinct. I don't see how anyone can make sense of most of it. REAL live video is not Hollywood, there is no camera positioning.
Was shot in the back, just after half turning and fireing the taser, think there is a couple of % deaths through taser use, if he had hit, would he have gone back, picked up the cops gun and shot him ? We don't know, but if you were the cop having been attacked, and having a taser fired at you, would you use your gun ? Yes I probably would, my own life matters to me, more than his does to me. It's like taking a knife to a gun fight, not a good idea and your probably going to get shot.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6080222/ So clearly more crime in the US is committed by white people and yet proportionally more black people are killed by the police than white, even though they are more likely to be unarmed.
A lot of blacks have chose to live the way they do and instead of always blaming the whites or white police for putting them down, they should look at themselves. It's 2020 and a lot has changed for them. There are many blacks who lived in the block and in poverty who have got off their arses and got an education and fair play to them.
Lacking in actual numbers, so I looked up some myself, first one I came to was for 2013 and said Blacks arrested for murder in 52% of murder cases, whites 45%,so if you are committing more murders, you would obviously come into conflict with armed police more often, in fact looking at that 32% seems a very low number.
Just seen a funny video on facebook, they read out a statement saying illegal alians involved in crimes should be locked up and deported, then asked college students what there thought about it were. Well there was outrage, disgraceful white nationalists, racists, scum, the lot, then they told them it was a statement from Obama, when he was president, lots of ow, ow, ow, erm, but. Lol
