Still here but unlike you I don't feel the need to post the same thing 50 times in an hour at this minute NOBODY knows what's happening, me and you included
that’s all the proof someone needs to decide that’s the new bid. Why pay the original asking price when you ca n pay £50m more
It's probably just $350m. Amazing that four mainstream journalists got the same story, at the same time. Smells of Ashley to me, though I can't give reasons.
but not until the deal is up in 2022. 18 months to wait for that. never mind. Everton missed out on the guys who have City now, these deals come along all the time.
Likely this tbh. Honestly the papers and bein will have no bearing on the PL decision. It will be resolved between PiF and the PL as part of a negotiation and to be quite honest no one needs to know the outcome of it. I’m still sceptical don’t get me wrong but the WTO report wasn’t as bad as expected and it didn’t refer to nufc or PIF. The deposit is paid and the only reason the deal will be off is if the PL are incompetent and block it. That then begs the question how did the Sheffield United deal go throw. It also casts a shadow on their morality. They agreed a 550m deal with terrorist supporters.
Next point. MA had said he does not want it played out through the media. Oh look the Qatari, sorry Maurris, bid being played out in the media
As I said yesterday - it'll all start moving quickly now... IF the offer from the Yank is there its because they were hoping the WTO would slam PIF and throw out the deal meaning he could pick it up at £300m BUT now its pretty much cleared them he needs to offer the extra £50m as a sweetener to try and tempt Ashley. TBH I would not be surprised to see either Mauriss pull his offer shortly or if it is accepted, Ashley to end up in the Tyne strapped to some bricks having upset the Saudis...so win/win either way. #****OffMauriss
