Well this year in America it's 172 white and 88 black, and the % is in line with crimes committed by each group. So we can say white lives haven't mattered any more than blacks.

It's not about stats, cops should not klil, but maybe in extreme cases they have to shoot. Get over the race war percentages. All lives Matter
It's comparative with crime, I'm afraid blacks commit more than their share of crime so it would be expected to have a higher number. They also murder 87% of all White murder cases despite only being, was it 13% of the population.To many killed of both races, but not any privilege whites. PS one of the cases wasn't murder and he won't get found guilty of Murder, and guy attacked, stole a weapon and attempted to use a potentially fatal weapon on the copper. If I attacked and tried to use a taser on an armed copper, I would expect to get shot, so I wouldn't do it.

The problem is American gun culture, get rid of the guns, then there will be a lot less deaths. There is 1.2 guns for every person in America, so where we go out, argue and get in fights, Americans go out, argue and blow each others heads off.
I know, but that's the problem, the amount of guns on the streets give police itchy triggers. I would love one, but would probably be in prison for murder or a police death, when drunk lol
We've all seen the cops shout ‘show me your hands’ can't blame them! A lot of people carry weapons. TBH I am surprised at how little gun shot deaths there are, as you say could you imagine a pissed up saturday night in england with people packing!?

That old chestnut? Sorry, old boy, Canada has far, far more guns per capita than the US - by some way too! And yet they don't have this problem. And when this was written not one person in America owned an assault rifle or automatic weapon of any description. It also took about a minute to reload a weapon so one had the time to scarper!
I've seen people in the UK after a boozey night out. Give them weapons and most of them would be limping home.
