I thought the police conducted themselves admirably. Polite (called him Sir), showed empathy (sorry his mum passed away) etc. Catching z's in the car park of a drive through was enough probable cause to question him and the smell of booze was enough to make the sobriety test and request of breath test legitimate. What Mr Brooks thought he was playing at refusing to be arrested we will never be known but I suspect those from the BLM movement will attest to him "being scared for his life" or "he knew if he got to the cells the Po-Po would whup his ass" or "never should have stopped the brother in the first place, only reason he got questioned was because he is black" etc etc.
Using the tazer on the cops? Pretty much got what was coming to him. Pointless, needless and a waste of a man's life but if you stick your fingers in the tiger's cage you can't get all pissed when your fingers get bitten off.
Are his family going to be all upset or just all uppity? I can only hope he was comfortably numb on the "top shelf" drinks to not feel the pain as he got shot.
His family want justice, meaning a murder conviction for the cops.
The hapless drunk was also on parole for child endangerment for repeatedly beating his baby moma and kids as well as a string of other crimes .

The cop should of aimed for non lethal leg shots but in this scenario it's become fight or flight .
Which Rayshard didn't really need to get into ove a a drunk driving ticket, unfortunately he was released early from prison as being not a threat to the public and covid 19.
Which to his baby mama, his kids and authority figures he surely was.
