Think we've all been expecting that. The big unknown is what will happen if we receive a bid of £15/£20m for him. We apparently want £35m - do we accept a lower offer rather than an extra year of him?
Can’t see us getting anywhere near £35m, he’s not worth that. Maybe £25m ....and will Everton or spurs pay that.......probably not.
That's what I mean - are we leading with £35m in the expectation any bidders will always try and undercut - maybe £25m is closer to what we would actually accept
I'd be happy with 15/20m now tbh. His last season to us won't be worth 15/20 million if you know what I mean. Good player but his ceiling isn't that high imo
We are light in MF, but if I had a choice between JWP and Davies in the middle....then I will go for Tom. Both are good younger players, but neither pulling up trees
We have an academy player in mind who will hopefully step up to the plate, and cash in at the same time. I think we would accept anything around £20 personally.
JWP has in my opinion this season come on leaps and bounds and the way he had Zaha in his pocket when we play Palace is brilliant. Davies for you can’t say I know a lot about him so can’t really compare.
the comment on him heading to Goodison isn’t something I see happening we have a player of his type and ability already and he didn’t cost a bean. Although JWP has a nice FK technique on him.
I think it's Pierre that has been linked with you, PJS and we have just demoted him from Captain because his new contract is up in the air with only one year left.
