Prediction League The New Normal Black Lives Matter Premier League Restart Prediction League

Its finally back, behind closed doors but better than ever. In the interest of inclusivity its actually a whole new league running to the end of this season with the following rules so open to anybody who wants to play.

Rules:
1. 5pts for correct result and score
2. 2pts for correct result and correct goal difference
3. 1pt for correct result
4. 3pts for first goalscorer
5. 0-0 result - if you predict no scorer will get 3pts
6. Own Goal - if player selected scores an own goal as first goal of game will also count for 3pts.
7. No early prediction bonus points as its too complicated.
8. ACS is allowed to copy anyone’s predictions he fancies.

You can’t choose Black Lives Matter either, even though they will each be showing that in place of a name on their shirts.

Unfortunately neither of those organisations wished to sponsor the League. Black Lives Matter have already provided a slightly wet Robert Colston statue, sans plinth, for the winner.

Btw Musty - very unlucky with the original Prediction League for 2019/2020 season. You were well placed to win this when we had to declare it null and void due to the Coronavirus epidemic and the fact that none of us looked as though we were going to catch you. It would have, of course, affected the integrity of these games, due to the major rule changes made in the matches being predicted.

Social distancing rules instigated for this new competition will mean that ACS will not be able to copy your scores as previously.
