When I saw Mrs Ginge walking up the aisle it bought a tear of joy to my eye. How she could carry two 24 packs of Stella whilst 7 months pregnant was amazing.

My missus is Welsh and can be somewhat fiery. Might come as a surprise to some on here but I'm not the best at keeping my gob shut <whistle> ... as such, we can have a few ding dongs and she has thrown various objects at me over the years.

Tend to row more these days over the girls - they share their mum's temper and are just as opinionated. Soon as they get to 15 and have boyfriends they seem to start to clash with their mum. If I think they have a point, I'm in the dog house too.<laugh>

Had an argument last week with Mrs Boogerman.

I was putting a wash in and two items of her clothing (cheap primarni ****) were going in with my stuff. She took offence that I was putting her stuff in wit my dirty ish walking socks. I tried to explain how a washing machine works but she wasn't having it. She man handled me away from the washer. And dragged her clothes out. I called her a knob head. She wasn't happy.
To prove a point that my socks wouldn't make other stuff in the wash dirty I put in a tea towel. When the wash finished I threw the perfectly clean tea towel at here and told her "that'll need to go through the wash again, it's ****in filthy."

She threw a plate full of food at me years ago, missed my head by an inch. Dunno what that was about, probs the painters were in.

I grew up in a house full of shouty people with tempers so arguing or conflict is no biggie for me, rather get it out than keep it in and start resenting people silently like some ***got.

Thats the way lads. Tell em they're a **** but also tell em why so you can move on.

Use it wisely, just suggest you are clearly useless at washing and leave it to her to do

Ive done this for years, 1st with my old mum as a kid then as an adult with gfs but I do it with shopping, I always remember to forget something vital (or purposefully get a different brand)

Worked a treat all my life as i don't get asked to go shop by anyone anymore <laugh>

Well the clear and obvious mistake here is to suggest you knew what you was talking about.

Imagine it like this...Julian gets banned. I unban him and he comes back, he then suggests he knows better and points to my inadequacies. So gets banned again and for even longer.

The message being, it's sometimes easier to say nothing, and just accept you were wrong.

You are young, you have lots to learn in life. You are at a stage, where you are attempting to apply your logic. The situation calls for wisdom. You only learn wisdom after suffering for the error of your ways.

A wise man, would have just agreed. It would have taken 5 seconds to do, rather than having to suffer the wrath for the next 24 hours. When you get older you only want peace and quiet, you only get that by being wise.

A wiseman knows you can't teach a young one anything, because they already know all of lifes answers. One day they will be wise, and learn they were always wrong.

You call it wise or whatever. I call it being a pussy.

Im sure julians ban will teach him who's the boss round ere and hell come back and agree with everything you say so he don't get banned again.

I mean it worked on me right<laugh>

Exactly. You learned wisdom. And what does wisdom bring, less aggro from the boss. In the case of Boogerman his Mrs. Think of the rewards he may of got if he had just agreed and put his rational to one side.

Imagine it like being a nectar card, if you're good, you get nectar points. In Sucky's case those nectar points can be exchanged for brownie points. Now you can't see the value of them brownie points, but the boss remembers them, when you get back to zero balance, you end up in the slammer.

Why do you think the likes of Archers and Spurly never get banned, they know when they are near the end of their points balance <laugh>
