Not to anyone. The WTO want a resolution to piracy. The PL want the same. Qatar want enforcement. The Saudis want Newcastle. Common demoninator to facilitate resolution in all - Negotiations and agreement. End piracy - legal ownership of TV rights. Split it between Qatar and Saudi.
This is the most likely case. The losers will be bein in two years time when the new deals are negotiated.

Lads, there’s a country in the Middle East called Israel. If you think for one second they’d agree to pay Qatari owned broadcasters for football television rights, then you’re a damn fool. Qatar signed a deal securing broadcasting rights for MENA, but that will predominantly exclude any country who opposes them politically. The Saudi’s are no different, they won’t subscribe to this deal regardless of how The Qatari’s will have claimed to represent MENA during any negotiation. The fact of the matter is, the PL will not interfere in politics at this level, they’ll look for an independent resolution from Saudi Arabia - and trust me I’m a Commercial God, one of the main reasons PIF are buying your club will have something to do with a broadcast deal which their public will subscribe to, and will probably include all sorts of boxing, F1, WWE etc etc. There’s a reason you’re being acquired by an investment fund and it’s to make money. Piece of a bigger jigsaw, a portfolio of mega wealth. Don’t forget Qatar’s name is filth to our FA who honestly and legitimately bid for the World Cup Tournament that the Qatari’s defrauded them of.

Your right. It is part of a bigger picture but it just so happens that for the jigsaw to be complete is if all the pieces are there. They need the club, the exposure, the people all to come in line. The actual takeover for them is actually quite key as it just opens up so many doors. It’s the reason why ashley was in it in the first place but the difference with life is they can double the turnover of the club with commercial deals. He just needed an advertisement vehicle. The premier league are also invested in it albeit they have a big ass problem to fix first. The government won’t get involved because the country NEEDS Saudi more than they need us. ££££ The WTO report has apparently already ruled on the piracy so they are now presumably trying to negotiate a way out of the mess that it is. Please don’t take my post as anything other than backing up effectively what you are saying. I will be very surprised if the deal takes another couple of weeks to come to a resolution. A negotiation of this magnitude involves very powerful people to come to the table. I still think bein will be the losers at the end of all this.
