If I’m outraged then it’s not what you think I’m outraged at. Ex forces chat may throw up the odd bloke who is a patriot to the core, I never really bought into the Queen and Corps mentality, there’s nowt heroic about a drone attack on a taliban convoy so I don’t consider myself anything of the sort and I left pretty sharpish once I took an interest in money, but there is a lot of heroism attached to WW1 & WW2 volunteers who bravely gave their lives so that generations after them could enjoy freedom; my family wouldn’t exist without them, so if some ex forces wanna stand and protect the heroes name, protect the Cenotaph, protect a statue of Churchill then good for them if it makes them happy, but don’t go battering coppers cos that just makes you a **** like the rest of the ‘thugs’. Everybody is conditioned differently in life, we can’t force everybody to think and feel the same about everything.
