The WTO report is meaningless. WTO are responsible for trade regulation between nations. It is up to the Government to act on any findings against the Saudi's. They aren't.

 

But the it's the premier league's product, so they don't need the government's permission to block it.

 

The PL will have sought Government advice on the issue in relation to their position.

The PL won't find that the Saudi's aren't fit and proper if our own Government openly praises them.

 

hopefully , but I'm conditioned to expect the worst.

 

The key thing what that WTO guy stated was it’s their job to resolve any issues that arise from these investigations

 

I am confident. The position of the Government is very persuasive. If it was different it would be off.

 

This. It would explains rumours of attempts at compromise.

 

What the government and premier league says and what they do are totally different. No point in interpreting things. Just a matter of waiting till it's done.
